Today was a good skill progress day. First, I was driving on the freeway and finally broke through the screaming barrier. My throat is sore from all the wrong tries and the back of my mouth tastes like blood, but I can scream now! :D
Also, I decided to put some serious effort into learning how to paint digitally, and to that end broke open Gimp and drew the crappiest cloud the world has ever seen.
After that I am drawing the second-crappiest cloud the world has ever seen. And progress!

NANO HAS BEGUN.
It's scary. It's also a ton of fun. I'm somehow managing to stay on top of the daily word count, and I stayed doggedly on the emotional roller coaster of Days One - Three long enough to find the plot and launch it into turbo overdrive mode. 2500 words later, this is going down big time.
NaNo Psychology outline:
1. This sucks.
2. This is so cool.
3. Who would ever want to read this crap?
4. This is going to be the best novel ever.
5. Why did I sign up for this stupid thing?
6. Cool, my characters are doing awesome stuff!
7. My characters suck harder than a ShopVac. They are cardboard. people. Even I am bored.
